Embley Grace is a contemporary replacement dwelling on a stunning site overlooking fields and woodland. An open plan kitchen dining space and snug opening onto the large south facing patio are located on the ground floor with 5 bedrooms and a terrace entertainment space located at first floor. The first-floor master bedroom opens out onto a large partially covered terrace maximising the stunning views and is also accessible from the rear via a spiral staircase. An indoor family swimming pool and gym flank the left side whilst a triple garage hugs the entrance to the right.
The client had a very clear idea on the form and scale of the new home. A series of dramatic mono pitch roofs, large overhangs, deep set windows and carefully selected materials all help the building blend into its setting. The house is clad in render and tile, the design is contemporary yet forms a careful contrast with its natural surroundings and is a fantastic family home.
