The upper-area of Brook House had the potential to become it's own area that gave more space and play to overall dynamic of the house.

Brook house is located in Redlynch in the New Forest National Park. It was built in 2005 but the current owners have a growing family and wanted to explore utilising the ample loft space. The application was subject to the National Park constraints. Externally a pair of simple dormers provided new windows for light and retained the look and feel of the existing house. Internally the design included a new staircase linking seamlessly with the existing stair up to the converted loft and a new master suite including bedroom area, luxury ensuite and dressing space.

The clients had a very clear vision of the style and type of space they wanted and this was continued successfully through the house. Materials, lighting, furnishing and colour all contributed to a very calm space maximising natural light.
