Treetops is a carefully designed modern, energy efficient new home designed for families, situated in the New Forest.

A contemporary replacement dwelling on a deep New Forest plot. It sits on a similar footprint to the existing 1960 bungalow. An open plan kitchen dining space and snug opening onto the large patio at the rear. There are 3 bedrooms at ground floor and 2 bedrooms located at first floor. The first-floor vaulted master bedroom has large windows to the front and rear flooding the space with natural daylight and ventilation. A vaulted indoor family swimming pool sits to the rear and is linked via a stone path to the main house.

The home is designed to be sympathetic in its relationship to the site. The main roof eaves sit at first floor level and the chalet style design creates interesting vaulted spaces internally and externally. The house is clad in a mix of slate, render and natural timber cladding, which link all the building forms on the site.
